SMILE-O R&D project begins today. SMILE-O stands for "Smart Metering for Local Energy Optimization". This project, which will last for 2 years, is focused on smart energy monitoring with a prosumer (producer-consumer) approach.

SMILE-O will have a final demonstrator which will comprise a wind turbine connected to a ICT management and monitoring platform. Vastalla will deal on this ICT management and smart monitoring platform and weather forecast data.
