The Italian Space Agency (ASI) has just published the final ranking of the ESA 2025 call, aimed at funding research proposals in human physiology, biology, psychology, physical sciences and materials science selected under the ESA calls AO-2023-BedrestCoreData, AO-2022-IBPER, ESA-CORA-GBF and AO-2024-Isolation. Among the seven proposals awarded funding is WELLSPACE, the project coordinated by the University of Turin (Department of Psychology, Principal Investigator prof. Raffaella Ricci), of which Vastalla is a partner in Italy, together with the Royal Military Academy (Belgium) and the Medical University of South Carolina (USA).

The project is part of the European Space Agency’s SOLIS100 isolation study, taking place at the Envihab facility of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Cologne.
