The project “WELLSPACE: Assessing the impact of isolation on human Well-being, Spatial attention, and Neuro-physiological Correlates”, submitted in the European Space Agency call AO-2024-ISOLATION, has been selected among the winners.

WELLSPACE project team, whose Principal Investigator is prof. Raffaella Ricci (University of Turin), is composed by partners Vastalla (Italy), the Royal Military Academy (Belgium) and the Medical University of South Carolina (USA).

The project has been submitted in a ESA call. The Space Agency was looking for experiments to be administered during an isolation and confinment study that will last 100 days and that will take place in 2026 at the Envihab facility of the German Space Agency (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt – DLR) in Cologne, Germany.
